Girls' Camp - Week 2!

Hey everyone!

We’re back today from a long, tiring track meet yesterday by being blessed with a later breakfast at 8:30 to give both the campers and counselors a rest for the rest of the next week. The weather has been pretty gloomy looking with grey skies and little to no rain.

That hasn’t stopped the camp from staying bright and keeping energy up for the day though! Ham and noodles for dinner paired with chicken patty sandwiches for supper fueled the day as well as various flavored chips (as opposed to the salt flavored ones we get regularly).

The cloudy skies didn’t stop us from getting into the water, boating in some wind, having sports classes in the Gaga pit, nor archering in archery. In other news, however, one of our dear counselors Carmela has been slain! And to make things worse it was a staff member among us! (Not really it’s a game called Murder by Night). Essentially, using clues given by counselors spread around camp, the campers had to figure out who “killed” Carmela and what the murder weapon was, a very taxing experience for all grieving. Eventually, all was figured out and the campers played their cards right.

I bid all adieu…
