Today was another scorcher! As with yesterday, we spent as much time as possible in the lake. After a breakfast of cornbread, melon, and cereal, we had a regular morning schedule. Everyone is improving rapidly in their boating and swimming classes! Dinner was a meal with many options--pork patties, mashed potatoes, ziti, squash, carrots, applesauce, baked beans, and bread, with peaches for dessert.
The afternoon was also spent in the water. Campers enjoyed a long general swim and many water games during Activity Period.
Supper was meatball grinders, cucumbers, and chips, with cheesecake for dessert. Yummy!
As I write, campers are getting ready for tonight's evening program, the LT Carnival! The LT's have set up games and activities on the A-field for the campers to play. It is sure to be a fun evening! After, campers will take a quick dip before going off to bed.
