Thought you might be interested in seeing the change in Columbia Lake since the dam was opened on 11/2. The November 2nd photo shows the rock off of Little Dipper Dock (looking forward the White Cottage) with just an inch or two peeking out. The second picture, November 12, is a very different story. In that picture, taken at the very same location as the first one, shows that the water has totally drained off leaving the rock dry. All that in 10 days!
In the December Blog I will include other pictures that will give you a better idea of what the lake will be like until next March when the dam will be closed and the lake will grow to its summer level.
